Licences and subscriptions

Where can I see licence usage?

Open Subscriptions or review the licence table on Dashboard. The table shows purchased quantity, used licences, available quantity, and next billing date for each active licence type.

Which licence should I use?

  • Basic, commercial FydeOS use and the Basic device inventory. The current Subscriptions page describes it as suitable for organisations that use Google Admin Console for device enrolment.
  • Kiosk, single-purpose devices that launch a designated full-screen app, with kiosk app management and remote operations in Management Cloud.
  • Business+, full device, user, browser, app, and policy management in Management Cloud.
  • Enterprise Grid, contact FydeOS for private or on-premises deployment, custom OS requirements, and enterprise service needs.

Capabilities and commercial terms can change. Use the current FydeOS Enterprise pricing page and your agreement as the source for purchasing decisions.

What happens during enrolment?

The selected licence type is assigned to the enrolled device and counts against the available quantity. Check capacity before generating an enrolment image or enrolling a deployment batch.

Can I change a device's licence?

For a Kiosk or Business+ device:

  1. Open Devices → Kiosk & Business+ Devices.
  2. Open the device.
  3. Click Modify License.
  4. Select the target type and confirm.
  5. Verify the device's policy and app behaviour after the change.

Only change a licence when the target capacity and required features are confirmed.

How do I manage the subscription?

Open Subscriptions and click Manage Subscription. The available purchase, quantity, billing, and renewal actions depend on your current plan and account. For Enterprise Grid or contract-specific changes, contact your FydeOS representative.

How do I avoid deployment interruption?

  • Monitor available quantity and renewal dates weekly.
  • Enable licence notifications under Notification Centre → Settings.
  • Reserve capacity before a rollout.
  • Verify the licence type in the pilot device details.
  • Deprovision retired devices according to your asset and licensing agreement.
